1,000 Homes for the J.V. Fletcher Library

The Friends of the J.V. Fletcher Library Foundation is asking 1,000 households in Westford to donate $1,000 each – either as a one-time payment or over three years – to help raise money to fund the expansion and renovation of the library. With 100 percent participation, the Foundation stands to raise $1M with this campaign.

The Friends of the J.V. Fletcher Library Foundation is a registered, independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization #22-2675998. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law. No goods or services will be exchanged for these contributions.

Donors have the option to spread their donation over three years, rather than donating $1,000 all at once.
If the initial donation is made online by credit card, the credit card will be charged on the anniversary of the initial donation. Donors will receive an email one month in advance reminding them of the upcoming charge.
If the initial donation is made by check, donors will receive a letter in the mail a few weeks before the anniversary of the initial donation, reminding them that their next installment is due.

If a donation is made online via our website, the donor will receive an email acknowledgement when the credit card is charged.
If a donation is made via paper check, or if a donation is made from a a Donor Advised Fund, the donor will receive a letter in the mail acknowledging the donation.
